Herbal treatment of influenza 



  Influenza, colds, cough that does not stop and does not end, and new viruses from influenza that we have not heard of all appear with waves of cold and frost, and if pharmacies have provided many types of medicine, herbal medicine enters the battle, assuring that it can face influenza and its consequences and troubles.

 Ginger: Drink a cup of milk with half a tablespoon of ground ginger, sweetened with bee honey, morning and evening, with dripping Nigella sativa oil (as snuff) in the nose.

 For colds: Drink orange juice containing a quarter of a teaspoon of ground ginger and massage the chest and back before bedtime with Nigella sativa oil.


 Sage: Hot water soak: A handful of sage is thrown into a liter of hot water at a boiling point, then covers the pot and is patient for 10-15 minutes.


 Filter and drink its filler 3-4 times a day. It treats the following cases:

 Difficult digestion, flatulence, heaviness in the stomach, diarrhea, dizziness, vomiting, stomach flu, intestinal gas, liver trouble, colic in the kidneys, palpitations, high pressure,.  Cold, catarrhal diseases, insomnia, depression, hysteria, high fever, asthenia and weakness, mental and physical fatigue.


  Linden: a huge tree also called the tilaw, and the seeds of this plant are used to extract an oil somewhat similar to olive oil.


 The active substances contain volatile oil and gels with soapy substances and are used as antispasmodic, diaphoretic and expectorant.


 The decoction of flowers and leaves is an analgesic for coughs and colds. It is a hypnotic calming the nerves. It is usually used as a hypnotic for children to calm their nerves in some sick cases.

 The decoction of the roots of ginseng, black bean, chamomile, quince, sweetened mahlab with bee honey and royal jelly is one of the most important herbs that increase the body’s immunity to combat cold and flu diseases, as well as a lot of drinking the aforementioned warm drinks that increase the natural energy of the human body to resist cold and common cold.


 Also, winter fruits such as citrus, including lemons, oranges, tangerines, grapefruit, kiwis, guavas, and eating fresh vegetables, carrots, watercress, and some grains such as wheat and barley have a good effect of prevention.


 Also, essential oils extracted from some plants can be used as nasal drops to resist colds and colds, including mixing a mixture of black seed oil, marjoram, bitter almond, rose, mint and frankincense stones to drip from them into the nose at a rate of two or three times a day to relieve respiratory congestion and cold.

 They have their own recipes, where what the old can bear may not be suitable for the young, and cause him troubles.


 The use of carrot juice after sweetening it with sugar is the best treatment for children’s cough. A mixture of cooked onion slices mixed with honey can be used.

 And also the use of boiled oats, lavender, chamomile and tilaw, with honey added to it after filtering, as an effective treatment for colds and eliminating coughs in children.
